Cooll: A thermally driven heat pump

Cooll develops thermally driven heat pumps designed to replace traditional condensing boilers in homes. These pumps use natural gas or hydrogen to provide both high- and low-temperature heating while reducing gas usage and CO₂ emissions by 25-40% without increasing electricity consumption. The technology uses a heat-driven adsorption compressor, making it energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.

Question of the client

Cooll had the intention to raise funds to further improve their innovative heatpump. Next to this, we assisted in determining the most viable revenue and business models and how to pursue them.

What we did

We assisted Cooll with fundraising in multiple investment rounds. We started with providing a financial model that in the future could be used as a strategic management tool, we assisted in the communication with potential investors and helped them closing the funding rounds.

The result

This resulted in multiple investment rounds of EUR +5M with investors and gives Cooll room for growing into the next pahse. And as we were very impressed with the technology, the impact and the ambition of Cooll we decided to participate in this investment round our selves.
